As special service for the GREEN VILLA guests we have compiled some information which is very useful and to be observed on site. The information was translated by google. Therefore, some terms might not be translated perfectly. Please do not be surprised ;-)

Defects & Complaints
Please check immediately on arrival that all services have been carried out as you booked them:
Are the beds made up in the correct number?
Are all the additional services you booked available? (towels, tea towels, children's high chair, children's travel bed)
Is everything as clean as you expect it to be?
Something is not as it should be? That can, but should not happen.
The professional rental organisation EuroParcs B.V. has received your payment to ensure that everything is to your satisfaction. Therefore, you are welcome to be extra 'fussy'. This is also in our interest. We want to ensure that future guests receive the best possible service in our GREEN VILLA holiday home.
Should something not be in order e.g. regarding the cleaning result, the booked services as well as the functionality of objects:
Please inform the lobby immediately!!!
This is the only way to ensure that the lobby rectifies the situation as quickly as possible. If it is no longer possible to rectify the situation, the lobby will ask for reimbursement of the service not performed. Subsequent notifications are not expedient for any of the parties involved and may no longer be taken into account.
Examples:
- The holiday home was not sufficiently cleaned (used towels not taken away, etc.).
- A booked service was forgotten (e.g. bed linen was only loosely placed on the bed and not covered, baby cot missing, towels missing, etc.)?
- A technical device (e.g. oven, heating, dishwasher, etc.) is not working?
- Something is still working but is stuck or damaged (e.g. front door stiff, door handle loose, something has worn out, etc.)?
24-hour hotline:
The telephone number of the lobby (see contact administrator) automatically becomes a 24-hour hotline outside opening hours. For example, technical problems (oven, heating, hot water, front door, sliding door, etc.) can be reported at any time. The holiday park even has its own technical service for this purpose.
Although the park has a nightly quiet time from 11 p.m. to 8 a.m., it can happen that individual guests violate this (disturbing noise). If you feel disturbed by noise at night, you can call the lobby at any time. The number is also in the app and on the swimming pool card.
Please note that the rental agreement has been concluded between you and EuroParcs B.V. (confirmed via the confirmation number provided). Therefore, all claims should be addressed directly to EuroParcs. Please note that as the owner of the holiday home, we have no influence on the availability of the park services and infrastructure and therefore cannot guarantee these services. Should something be temporarily unavailable (e.g. due to maintenance or renovation work), this does not give rise to a claim for price reduction or withdrawal. An exchange of the holiday home is also not permitted.
garden maintenance
If you think that the lawn needs to be mowed again, or the "weeds" from the patio joints and beds need to be removed:
Please report it directly to the lobby!
Then the garden maintenance will be done as quickly as possible.
Because we pay over 2,000€ to the park every year just for the outside maintenance on our property, so that you feel comfortable and can enjoy the garden (maintenance of garden, flower beds, hedges, terraces, cleaning of the outside facade, etc.).
Of course, the gardener tries to make sure that the guests who are currently staying are not inconvenienced by the maintenance work. As our holiday home is occupied almost all the time, it can happen that garden maintenance has had to be postponed out of consideration for the guests. This backlog will be made up as soon as possible, as soon as you report it to the lobby.

House Rules & Rules
Non smoking house:
Smoking is also prohibited throughout the GREEN VILLA for sustainable and hygienic reasons. This also applies to the roof terrace. If you smoke in the garden, you must ensure that the furniture is not damaged. You have to clean the ashtray completely yourself. It is not the job of the cleaning staff. Otherwise additional cleaning fees will be charged separately.
Dogs:
Dogs are very welcome in the GREEN VILLA. You will see that we have done a lot to ensure that the furry friends feel really comfortable with us. For reasons of sustainability and hygiene, the following rules must always be observed:
1. Dogs must never get on the beds, chairs, sofas or armchairs. Dogs must always stay on the ground. This also applies to the furniture outside.
2. It is forbidden to use the blankets provided in the house for dogs.
Please remember to bring your own blanket and basket for your dog.
3. Dogs may not be left unattended in the house or in the garden.
4. Only absolutely housebroken dogs are welcome. Territory markings are undesirable on the property. The surrounding area certainly offers many quiet places that are ideal for this. If you have accidentally defecated in the garden, it must be removed immediately without leaving any residue and the area must be cleaned thoroughly. Otherwise, an additional professional basic cleaning will be commissioned (additional fee at least €200).
5. The holiday park is geared towards furry friends. Therefore, dog waste bags are available in the lobby and in special dispensers throughout the park. Dogs are to be taken out for business outside the park. The location of the GREEN VILLA is ideal for this, as you are only a few steps away from the nature reserve outside the park.
6. Dogs must be kept on a leash throughout the park, including on the beach.
7. When animals enter countries within the EU, they must be in possession of a European-style pet passport (since July 3, 2004). Animals must be vaccinated against rabies and must be identified by microchip or tattoo. It is the guest's own responsibility to have the correct pet travel documents required at the destination (see current park terms and conditions).
Damage:
We trust our guests. Therefore, unlike in the Netherlands, we do not take a deposit. If you, your children or dogs have accidentally damaged something: don't worry, the head stays attached ;-). Damage must immediately communicated to the Lobby and to the owner in written form (best with photos) in order to keep consequential costs and impairments for the following guests as low as possible. Please do not provide a replacement yourself. The park stocks many items and makes them available at cost. Insurance can be taken out.
Otherwise it would be significantly more expensive if unreported damage is detected during the final inspection (additional penalty payment due).
Charging electric cars:
Charging electric cars at the GREEN VILLA is prohibited (fire hazard). Instead, the park has several fast charging stations (Lobby parking lot). Only these columns may be used for charging electric cars. See parking regulations and the section "Charging electric cars" in this guest information.
Park Rules:
The currently valid Park rules must be observed. These are on our homepage under the Conditions visible at any time. The lobby can also make these available to you.
Furniture, blankets, seat cushions:
Furniture and furnishings may not be moved or rearranged. In particular, the furniture and blankets from indoors are not allowed to be used outdoors. Blankets provided are no picnic blankets and also not for dogs intended.
The grill should remain in place.
The furniture on the roof terrace may not be moved. Please put the seat cushions in the cushion box at night and when it rains.
Parasol:
At times of non-use care must be taken that the umbrella is closed. Sudden gusts of wind can occur at the Veluwemeer. As a result, storm damage has often occurred in the park due to carelessness. On the day of departure, the closed parasol must be placed in the middle of the clinker brick wall (wind shadow).
Insects, Mice & Co.:
In the interests of all guests and animals, the sliding doors as well as the front door at dusk closed and not left open in the dark for long periods of time. Otherwise, more insects and possibly mice would get into the holiday home, which could negatively affect the condition and longevity of the house. The following guests would certainly not find it so pleasant, because it is not the job of the cleaning staff to examine the whole house for spiders and to remove them in an environmentally friendly way with a ceiling height of sometimes more than 3 meters.
If a mouse should have strayed into the house, please let the lobby know as soon as possible (outside opening hours by phone). Alternatively, you are welcome to lure the mouse out of the house yourself, if you like ;-)
flat roof:
That entering the flat roof (area of slide and border) is forbidden. The roof terrace (area of the wooden terrace) can of course be used.
Infringements:
Anyone who breaks the rules faces heavy fines under Dutch law (up to several thousand euros). In addition, damages (e.g. for a comprehensive professional basic cleaning, etc.) and the like can be claimed.

EuroParcs has its own apartment with the latest information about the holiday resort
(such as current opening hours the lobby, from the supermarket, restaurant, indoor pool, snack bar, bike rental, boat rental, water sports center, indoor pool and wellness center, current maintenance and renovation work, as well as closing times of the barrier and the current animation program, etc.). Please note that we have no control over the availability of parking services and the infrastructure have and therefore also no warranty can take over for these services. If something is temporarily unavailable (e.g. due to maintenance work), this does not give rise to any entitlement to a price reduction or withdrawal.
So that you have the latest information about the park, we recommend that you download the app for free from the App Store. This way you can plan your vacation days using the most up-to-date data.

Additional services
Should you during your stay additional services need,
that´s no problem. Just get in touch with the lobby and
everything is taken care of (for a fee), such as:
- Exchange bedding:
Fresh bed linen will be provided in between (“additional bed linen package”). This linen package consists of bed sheet, duvet cover and pillowcase.
- Exchange bath towels and towels:
You will receive a fresh bath towel and hand towel per person. There is no automatic exchange. If you would like to have the towels changed during a longer stay, you would have to order this directly in the lobby and pay for it there.
- Providing of tea towels:
The tea towel package consists of 1 tea towel + 1 towel. It is not provided as standard, as many guests only use the dishwasher and therefore do not need the towels. Otherwise, all the towels would have to be changed every time guests change for hygienic reasons, which would not be in the spirit of sustainability. If you do need dish towels, you can get a fresh pack for a small fee directly at the lobby.

Attention: as usual, the bed linen for travel cots not provided by the park. Accordingly, you should bring a baby sleeping bag or something similar with you.

Operation sliding doors
To ensure that the sliding doors last as long as possible, we have the following request of you:
Please use mainly the small sliding door to get to the terrace. This is easier to use due to the lower weight. In addition, the floor mats are laid out there both inside and outside.
We are aware that the construction and quality of the installed sliding doors are not ideal. Therefore, careful handling is all the more important. Please pay attention to the small white operating label above the handle.
If the sliding doors should be difficult to open or close properly, please let us know instantly inform the lobby. Of the technical service of the park will take care of it immediately.

heating & hot water

The control unit (digital thermostat) for the heating can be found to the left of the gray kitchen unit:

Attention: the heating mode is only in "Winter" operating mode possible. When this operating mode is active, the display shows the at the top right symbols "radiator + faucet". The tap symbol means that the heat pump is also used for the production of hot water starts.

To adjust the room temperature, press the following keys:

To set the minimum temperature, press the respective arrow key repeatedly until the desired temperature is displayed.

The heat pump (large white device outside) then starts automatically as soon as the set temperature is undercut.

In some places of the GREEN VILLA there are "radiators" that ensure a warm room temperature.
-
These radiators start with few minutes delay the heating (audible ventilation). This is because the heat pump starts up first and does preliminary work.
-
Don´t be surprised: the radiators and the air above them don´t feel particularly warm. This is normal, because the optimal air circulation ensures that only one low flow temperature is needed. As a result, the energy efficiency is particularly good.

please have some patience and don´t set the digital thermostat unnecessarily high (not above 23-24 degrees). You will notice that you will achieve a pleasant and environmentally friendly room climate with a thermostat setting of 20 to 22 degrees.

Too warm in winter: If it should be too warm for you in winter due to direct sunlight, we recommend you to air it out briefly (shock ventilation with open doors and windows). It is possible to switch the system to cooling mode, but we do not think this makes sense for sustainable reasons. Automated cooling deliberately does not take place in the cool season (no air conditioning).

hot water: If several people take a hot shower at the same time or one after the other, then it may be some patience required until the heat pump again replenishment of warm water produced (about 15-30 minutes). Alternatively, the sanitary facilities in the indoor pool and the campsite belonging to the park can of course also be used free of charge.
In the bedrooms let these aggregates themselves control separately.
For example, you can turn off the heating function at night so that the bedrooms stay nice and cool and the living area nice and warm.

Important:

ATTENTION:
Since the cooling by the heat pump works according to the reverse principle, the thermostats in the bedrooms opposite to turn to heat mode (see "HEATING" section).
The "radiators" start with few minutes delay the cooling (slight cool airflow). This is because the heat pump starts first and does preliminary work. The convectors do not switch on at the same time, but one after the other (eg first a convector in the living room, then after a few minutes in the hallway, and a little later in the bedrooms).
With the environmentally friendly cooling function of the heat pump, it is possible to achieve a total temperature reduction of about 3 degrees (approx. 1 degree reduction per 3 hours), so that peak temperatures on midsummer days can be moderated.
In principle, it always makes more sense to achieve a cooling effect by ventilated strongly early in the morning and then closes the windows and shaded. For example, you can also achieve a great effect if you open the parasol and place it directly in front of the sliding door. It´s always better if you dont have to turn on the cooling function in the first place. This consumes electricity, albeit significantly less than a conventional air conditioning system.
In addition, we have one especially for the bedroom on the upper floor fan purchased.
Don´t be surprised: after the cooling has been deactivated, it continues to run for a few minutes. That is normal.
Chimney
The GREEN VILLA is equipped with an environmentally friendly electric fireplace. Another advantage is that you have the choice between campfire ambiance without heat or with heat. If you don´t need any additional heat (e.g. in summer), you don´t have to do without the beautiful ambience.
If you are cold, we recommend using the heating system with the radiators. Because this heats even more efficiently due to the heat pump and the better heat distribution. The heating function of the fireplace makes more sense as additional heating in the depths of winter.
You can easily use the fireplace by remote control serve. You can usually find these in the living room wall mount for remote controls. So that the remote controls last a long time, the use of the wall brackets is particularly important in the presence of toddlers or dogs sensible.

Internet
You can easily connect your devices wirelessly to the secured WiFi of the holiday home. Alternatively, you can send your laptop, your Apple TV box or similar via LAN-Connect the cable to the router.
The router is behind the TV in the living room installed.

If you have problems with the internet connection:
Unplug the power cord from the router and plug it back in after about 10 seconds. Then wait about 1-2 minutes until the router has loaded everything again.
If that doesn´t work, just ask the lobby for help. The holiday park has its own technical service, which can also take care of such problems directly.
TV & Multimedia

ATTENTION:
To save energy, is also the standby mode usually via the outlet switch switched off been. If you want to use the television, you must first turn the socket switch turn on. When the TV is not in use, we would like to ask you to turn the switch off again.

The fitting remote control is usually located in the wall mount next to the sofa.

Music & Radio
The BOSE SoundTouch Portable Music system in the kitchen is equipped with Internet radio, AirPlay function and jack connection, so that you can stream your favorite music either conveniently via streaming (via the "Hotspot_Hoophuizen" network) or via audio cable.

Quick start Guide:
1. select the correct WiFi network ("Hotspot_Hoophuizen")
2. Open the Music app
3. Select Soundtouch as speaker
remote control:
The volume and transmitters are easily controlled via the free Bose SoundTouch app. That's why we've deliberately avoided providing an additional remote control that would require you to keep changing the batteries. With the app, all guests have the option of operating the speaker via their smartphone.
Alternatively you can listen to the Radio via the Smart TV in the living room.
Charging hub:
For our guests, we have also installed a smart power strip with USB-A and USB-C connections. We have dimensioned the shelf above it so that you can comfortably charge your smartphones and tablets there.
Refrigerator

ATTENTION:
In order to save energy, the cooling function is usually via the rotary switch switched off been. If you want to use the fridge, you have to use the cooling function turn on.
Ideally, you should turn the rotary switch on ECO to achieve the most efficient cooling performance possible.

Secret compartment:
There is a hidden bottle cooling system under the freshness drawer. Simply remove the drawer completely, place the bottles in the cooling tray, and then slide the drawer back over it.
Toast / baking function
The oven (left device) of the GREEN VILLA offers an excellent baking function with which it is very easy to do Toast, pre-baked rolls and the like to prepare wonderfully. Many of our guests were very enthusiastic about it. A toaster is therefore superfluous. In addition, the holiday park advised us against providing an additional toaster based on its experience and for hygienic reasons.

bread box
At the request of many guests, we have purchased a bread box as an optional extra. Please remove crumbs before your departure. The box will not cleaned by the cleaning staff.


Drinking water

The water from the tap has a very good drinking water quality. We recommend to set the water tap to "cold". The water is then clearest and tastes best.
In terms of sustainability, there is no need to buy extra bottled water in the supermarket.
Please note that it is of course not permitted to fill pools, paddling pools or similar with the tap water that you have brought with you.
Mini market & other supermarkets
The mini market in the park offers a good range at fair prices.
However, this is not open at all times or has limited opening hours in the off-season.
Therefore we provide alternatives for our guests supermarket tips to disposal.

restaurants
The holiday park´s restaurant and snack bar are not always open or have limited opening hours in the off-season.
Therefore we provide alternatives for our guests restaurant-tips to disposal.
Barbecue & BBQ
For your well-being, we have set up a barbecue area on the terrace.



The following points must be taken into account for use:

Due to many requests, we provide the grill as an optional extra.That gas you have to get it yourself (e.g. at the gas station or at the hardware store nearby). But there is a possibility that the previous guests left you some gas ;-)

Please remove the grill after use clean yourself! This takes over not the cleaning staff! You have one for cleaning grill brush available (usually in a drawer in the kitchen or in the base cabinet of the grill). If necessary, please also clean the grill brush yourself afterwards.

We have one in the storage room next to the front door propane gas cylinder (returnable bottle) stored. You can use these to exchange with a corresponding one gas station (e.g. Gulf) nearby. Of course you can not collect the deposit, because it belongs to us. Alternatively, you can organize or bring another gas bottle.

Each guest is for proper use self responsible. We assume no liability for the use of the grill. Before use, we recommend the correct connection of the gas cylinder and the tightness of the line check over (e.g. with soapy water).

Please the grill on the terrace leave it like that. Please don´t move.
ATTENTION:
For safety reasons, immediately after use, the Gas bottle back in the storeroom be asked. Please remember that close storage room, so that children do not come into contact with the gas bottle.

Lounge / cushion box / roof terrace
On the roof terrace there is a cushion box for the seat cushions of the lounge furniture.

To ensure that the cushions last as long as possible, please put them back in the cushion box immediately after using the lounge furniture. Please always return the box with the combination lock close.
